FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW
DOES ANIMAL COMMUNICATION WORK?
To
the extent that a person can quiet and open to the Web of Life, one can
enter into communion with the natural world in a profound and healing way.
In recent history our immediate connection to all of life was a natural
part of day-to-day living. Traditional peoples and those that nurture this
connection still have the ability to communicate life forms other than human
beings.
Communication
between the animal and animal communicator is done in a non-verbal manner. You
will not hear me ask the animal specific questions, but when the animal
answers me, I will verbally tell you their response exactly as I “hear
it” from them.
What
your animal companion/s share with me can reveal not only information
about their specific needs but can also directly address your own imbalances
and areas that would benefit from healing.
WHAT
TYPE OF ANIMALS DO YOU WORK WITH?
I have
worked with many types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, snakes,
fish, horses, rabbits, rats, chickens and bees. I have also worked with
wild animals in their natural environment and those that frequent peoples’
properties.
HOW
MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE TO HELP MY ANIMAL?
Our
work together depends upon creating a safe place where the animal can
“be heard,” sometimes for the very first time. Once they have
expressed themselves and have listened to information from their human,
their behavior often reflects this new information and change can occur
immediately. It is rare to have to do more than one or two follow-up sessions
with clients.
WHAT
CAN I EXPECT DURING THE SESSION?
At
least 24 hours prior to the session, I need a short biography of your
animal and a list of questions, in the order of importance. Typical questions
you might ask during a session would include (but are not limited to):
- Are you in pain? Where?
- Is there anything that you need/want from me?
- Why are you behaving this way?
- Do you want an animal companion?
- Do you know what is happening with your illness?
- Do you want help dying?
- What will it look like when you are ready to leave?
- What do you want done with your body?
- What can I do to help you?
During
the session, it is best to be in a quiet space where you will not be interrupted.
Have a pen and paper with you for any notes you might want to take. However,
your biggest “job” is to be present and listen deeply to what
your animal has to say.
The session will be opened with the animal speaking first and the questions
following after that. The session will have a natural flow and there is
space for follow up questions or clarifications as needed.
You
will not hear me speak to the animal, as it is done non- verbally. I will
be speaking to you directly and telling you what the animal is saying
exactly as I hear it.
DOES
THIS WORK REPLACE MY VET?
No!
I am not a veterinarian and cannot diagnose illness. An animal communication
session does not replace qualified complementary care or medical care
for your animal but is effectively used in conjunction with it. What I
can do is describe to you the symptoms I feel and tell you what the animal
is feeling. This information can then be used to assist your veterinarian
or chiropractor. Good veterinary and complementary care is always recommended.
I am happy to work closely with veterinarians, both western and alternative,
and will stay in close contact with your vet when warranted.
WHAT
ARE FLOWER ESSENCES?
Flower
essences are vibrational, potenized substances that are derived directly
from the flowers of plants. Each plant has a specific “signature”
or quality to support healing. These essences affect the energetic body,
thereby allowing one to heal mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
For humans, essences are taken orally by placing the drops under the tongue
(they have no taste) or adding them to a glass of water. Topically they
can be placed on the body as directed or in bath water. For animals, ideally
they should be given orally but can also be added to the water bowl. When
oral application is difficult, they can be rubbed on the animal’s
body or sprayed in the air just above the body. |
